1st Legacy Capital was founded by Ken Freshwater and Andy Shurden in 2016. After nearly 40 years of combined mortgage experience, Ken and Andy formed 1st Legacy Capital to provide consumers in Mississippi the premier resource for mortgage financing, includimg FHA, VA, USDA , Conventional and Reverse Mortgage Loans locally in Mississippi. 1st Legacy Capital is located in Starkville, Mississippi and serves consumers state wide. Both Ken and Andy are licensed Mortgage Originators and members of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). Providing excellence in customer service and assisting consumers and their families with Purchases, Refinances and Reverse Mortgages continues to set 1st Legacy Capital apart.
Both Ken and Andy were born in Mississippi and travel the entire state to meet and discuss Mortgages with consumers, their families, Real Estate Professionals and Financial planners. 1st Legacy Capital offers professional. personal and prompt face to face consultations throughout Mississippi. I'm a proud father born in Lexington, Mississippi. My career in the mortgage industry has taken me to various parts of the country, my love for the south and especially my home state of Mississippi brought me home in 2009. Through education and information, my role with 1st Legacy Capital allows me to assist consumers on a one on one personal basis to better help them with their mortgage solution, whether buying, refinancing or taking advantage of a reverse mortgage.
